They both had a really good first day back with LOTS to say...and LOTS of paperwork. But first they helped me finish off our "pencil cake" as seen on Family Fun. I had planned to have it finished and surprise them, but as usual nothing goes according to plan around here. They each got to help making the colored icing. T did the yellow/orange and J did the pink and miraculously was able to concoct a brown. I still don't know how...he was adding and mixing for quite a while.

Not exactly gourmet..but pretty cute. This picture makes T look tiny...lol!
